Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase in Consumer and Community Banking Technology. Lead an application development team to deliver modern technology solutions, oversee planning and execution of complex software solutions, drive innovative solutions aligned with business objectives, keep stakeholders informed, foster a culture of continuous improvement, mentor engineers, and ensure adherence to Agile practices. Requires Java with Spring Boot, cloud experience (AWS), Terraform IaaS, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, CI/CD, and DevOps tooling; plus leadership in Scrum environments and front-end integration with React/ReactJS as a preferred plus.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Experience with JAVA, including Spring Boot and reactive JAVA programming
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS)
- Terraform for Infrastructure as Code to provision and manage AWS resources
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with version control tools (GIT, Bitbucket)
- Experience in DevOps practices including build, deployment, integration, and code management using Jenkins and Maven
- Experience in testing frameworks such as Junit, JMeter, and Cucumber
- Demonstrated leadership in managing scrum teams, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups
- Ability to mentor team members and remove blockers
