Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer on an agile team responsible for delivering secure, scalable software products. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to business and technical teams, hands-on development in Java/Spring Boot, code reviews, and debugging; identifying opportunities to automate remediation and improve operational stability; driving design decisions for product functionality and technical operations; acting as a subject-matter expert in core areas; promoting firmwide SDLC practices and incorporation of leading-edge technologies; influencing peers and project decisions; and contributing to an inclusive team culture with collaboration across diverse teams. Strong emphasis on advanced Java/Spring Boot proficiency, relational database expertise, automation/CI approaches, and end-to-end software lifecycle discipline, with experience in cloud, data processing, and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced knowledge in Java and Spring Boot
- Advanced knowledge in relational databases
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices
