Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Consumer and Community Banking’s API Marketplace. You will provide technical guidance to partners, teams, contractors, and vendors; influence adoption of innovative technologies; serve as a subject matter expert across SDLC; develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug others' code; drive product design decisions; mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews; and rapidly iterate on design and implementation in the face of ambiguous requirements. Required skills include TypeScript and React; Java 8+; REST, microservices, Spring Boot; cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, private cloud); modern SDLC practices (TDD, CI, CD); design systems and Git; and experience with system design, testing, and operational stability. Preferred skills include Zustand/Redux/Context API, Maven, Jenkins CI pipelines, React Query, and performance optimization. Location: Seattle, WA, United States.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Java 8+ for distributed application development
- REST, microservices, Spring Boot
- Experience developing cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, private cloud)
- Familiarity with SDLC practices (TDD, CI, CD, CD)
- Experience with Git
- Hands-on experience in SDLC
