Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer for Digital Solutions at Citi leads large-scale software development efforts and guides multi-project delivery. The role emphasizes architecture-driven execution, design reviews, and mentoring of SDE teams, with responsibilities spanning preplanning guidance, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration with TPMs and engineering managers. Strong emphasis on communicating risks to business owners, enabling informed decisions, and delivering systems optimized for efficiency in resources such as hardware, runtime, performance, load, and memory. A bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred; 6-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrated leadership in enterprise software engineering are expected, along with expertise in cloud platforms and architectural governance.
