Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer for Digital Solutions at Citi leads large-scale software development efforts and guides multi-project delivery. The role emphasizes architecture-driven execution, design reviews, and mentoring of SDE teams, with responsibilities spanning preplanning guidance, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration with TPMs and engineering managers. The incumbent drives architectural decisions, contributes to long-term technology roadmaps, and promotes design patterns and NGA/NGA-related projects while ensuring alignment with CTO guidelines, cloud platforms (AWS, PCF, Akamai), and CI/CD practices. Strong emphasis on communicating risks to business owners, enabling informed decisions, and delivering systems optimized for efficiency in resources such as hardware, runtime, performance, load, and memory. A bachelor’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred; 6-10 years of relevant experience and demonstrated leadership in enterprise software engineering are expected, along with expertise in cloud platforms and architectural governance.
