Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Risk Technology Portfolio. Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams; develop secure, high-quality production code; design and develop large-scale cloud-based solutions (AWS) aligned with security controls; deploy cloud-based solutions with analytics; migrate legacy big data apps to cloud-native architectures with zero downtime; influence product design and technical operations; build tools to monitor and automate components; contribute to SDLC practices and engineering community; leverage operational insights to optimize user experience; advocate for firmwide frameworks and best practices; foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect; located in Plano, TX (onsite).
Required Qualifications
- Formal training and certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 2+ years experience leading technologists to manage complex technical items
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Good knowledge of Machine Learning modelling as an engineer
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) and framework(s) (e.g., Python, Java, Big Data, Data pipeline, Machine Learning)
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with expertise in cloud, AI/ML, mobile, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field
- Practical cloud native experience
- Knowledge of the financial services industry and TI systems
- Working experience in OOPs and SDLC
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and Databricks
