Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer and Solutions Engineer within JPMorgan Chase's Card Technology Team. Architect and guide cloud-based platforms, drive modernization initiatives, and ensure performance, security, reliability, and compliance. Collaborate with executives, product owners, and engineers to define architectural solutions, influence product design, and lead implementation across modern cloud environments (notably AWS). Develop secure, high-quality production code, review others' code, and advocate firmwide SDLC practices. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of software architecture, multiple technical disciplines, and experience with Java, Python, Terraform, SQL, and NoSQL cloud databases. Foster collaboration, inclusion, and cross-team influence while delivering scalable, containerized microservices and event-driven architectures.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Experience with Cloud Technologies in particular Public Cloud and AWS
- Experience in crafting well-architected designs, application development, testing, resiliency and operational stability to utilize the capabilities of cloud computing for applications
- Advanced knowledge in one or more software, applications, and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, application development, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines.
- Experience in advanced design patterns in Java ,Python, Terraform and proficiency in SQL . NoSQL cloud databases.
- Experience of building secure solution designs including cloud experience
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
- Drive domain modeling, designing, and handling of complex and scalable architectures, building container eco-systems for micro services
