Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the API Marketplace program; provide regular technical guidance to partners and teams, influence adoption of innovative technologies, serve as a subject-matter expert across SDLC, develop secure production code in a multi-technology environment, mentor junior developers, and drive design decisions for product functionality, architecture, and operations. Requires TypeScript/React, Java 8+, REST/microservices, cloud-native deployments (AWS/GCP/private cloud), and experience with CI/CD, design systems, Git, and SDLC practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with 5+ years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React.
- Advanced skills in one or more programming languages, including Java 8+ for distributed application development, REST, microservices, and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications (e.g., AWS, GCP, private cloud).
- Familiarity with modern SDLC practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment.
- Experience with design systems and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
