Senior/Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Job Summary
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Java-based microservices while validating message flows using Kafka or similar publish-subscribe tools. Perform end-to-end testing of frontend components built with React, Angular, or Vue, and build robust automation frameworks using Java and Playwright. Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines and ensure comprehensive test coverage within an Agile environment. Identify and track bugs, participate in code reviews, and contribute to improving test strategies. Immediate joiners or candidates with a 10–15 day notice period are preferred for this onsite/hybrid role in Bangalore.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years experience
- Minimum 4+ years in Automation Testing
- Full-Time, Permanent with Client
- Onsite / Hybrid (3 Days WFO)
- Strong experience in testing Java-based microservices
- Experience with Kafka or any other publish-subscribe messaging tools
- Frontend testing experience using React.js, or similar frameworks such as Angular or Vue.js
- Automation Testing experience using Java
- Minimum 4 years of experience in automation testing
- Hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation
- Immediate Joiners or 10–15 Days Max Notice
- Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in both automation and microservices testing
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
