Senior / Lead Siebel Developer

Job Summary
Design and configure Siebel CRM applications using Siebel Tools, implementing complex business logic via workflows, business services, and eScript. Develop and maintain enterprise integrations using REST/SOAP web services while writing optimized SQL queries for database performance tuning. Provide Tier 3 technical support to triage and resolve complex environment issues, crash logs, and data sync defects. Make independent design decisions, present technical solutions to stakeholders, and guide the team in implementation within an Agile or Waterfall delivery model. This individual contributor role reports to an IT Manager, with 2 to 3 days onsite in Piscataway, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Siebel CRM development and configuration
- Expert-level knowledge of Siebel architecture, Data Objects layer, Business Objects layer, and User Interface layer
- Strong proficiency in Siebel Workflow Processes, Business Services, and custom eScripting
- Deep understanding of EAI, Integration Objects, Data Maps, and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience dealing with timeout issues
- Experience with migration processes, Siebel incremental deployment
- Experience with project/Product life cycle, including design, development, testing, UAT, and production support
- Solid experience working in both Agile/Scrum and Waterfall delivery models across full project lifecycles, including design, development, testing, UAT, and production support
- 2 to 3 days onsite in Piscataway NJ
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Siebel version (24.x through 26.x) using Web Tools and Workspace management
- Familiarity with cloud migrations, specifically to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or hybrid cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve deep-seated technical defects during triage sessions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with business sponsors, PMs, and QA teams, and present technical solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to guide teams, set technical direction, and work effectively with all levels of management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with scheduled patch cycles and multi-pod project teams
- Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate custom eScripting, optimize complex SQL queries, and streamline code
