Job Summary
Senior/Lead iOS Engineer responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality mobile experiences at Flo. Build and maintain production mobile applications in Swift with rich, performant UIs, aligning with privacy-first, clinically backed health insights. Own end-to-end value delivery across the mobile lifecycle within an Agile, cross-functional team. Drive improvements in performance over constrained networks, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with designers to advocate for quality user experiences. Hybrid work setup with three days in the office, focusing on scalable, global consumer-facing products and a strong emphasis on ownership and ship-with-purpose culture.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in software engineering
- at least 3 years focused on building, shipping, and maintaining production mobile applications
- Expert-level iOS development skills with track record of delivering high-quality apps at scale
- Hands-on experience building complex mobile applications with rich, performant UIs
- Deep proficiency in Swift; working knowledge of Objective-C
- Solid object-oriented design principles
- Strong familiarity with Apple's ecosystem—frameworks, HIG, App Store submission/maintenance
- Understanding of mobile product lifecycle and Agile
- Collaborative, growth-oriented mindset with ownership
- Nice to have: UX principles, offline-first architectures, CI/CD pipelines for mobile, analytics/BIs, A/B testing
