Job Summary
Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Sector - Infrastructure Platforms. Applies deep technical expertise to analyze complex data and systems, lead programs spanning multiple technologies, advises junior engineers, ensures compliance and risk alignment, and drives modernization across platforms. Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure and network engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience in infrastructure engineering
- 2+ years experience leading technologists
- Knowledge of hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
- Deep knowledge of multiple infrastructure technologies and scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, yaml, Json, Bash)
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift)
- Experience with on-premises and remote Data Center technologies
- Experience with OS and Hypervisor platforms (Hyper-V, ESXi, KVM, VMware, OpenShift)
- Experience in infrastructure automation, optimization and observability
- Experience deploying telemetry tools for visibility
- Solid understanding of public cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with CI/CD and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet)
- Preferred: Networking transport tech (40/100/400G Ethernet, CWDM/DWDM)
- Understanding of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, MPLS, RSVP-TE, IS-IS)
- Knowledge of IPv4/IPv6
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring stacks
