Job Summary

Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues, evaluate upstream and downstream implications, and advise on mitigation actions while utilizing enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and validate operational data. Collaborate with stakeholders to architect and implement changes that resolve issues, modernize processes, and ensure cost-effective data solutions comply with compliance, risk, and security standards. Provide third-level support to the production management team and drive thought leadership by leading reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices across delivery and automation routines. Ensure all changes remain validated, traceable, auditable, and aligned with resiliency expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
  • 5+ years applied experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as: hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations
  • Strong knowledge of network architecture and protocols, Market data streaming, and messaging products (e.g. market data industry vendors' products like Bloomberg Bpipe, LSEG Elektron, Solace, AMPS, Redline, etc)
  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
  • Advanced applied experience in Cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS
  • Experience in using Data Lake technologies (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue/Athena, Lake Formation)
  • Adept in specific infrastructure technology and programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, C++, SQL scripting)
  • Proficient with Monitoring tools (ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Datadog)
  • Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies (ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds)
