Job Summary
Analyze complex data and systems to anticipate issues and mitigate risk while utilizing enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure signal analysis and validate mitigation options. Architect and implement changes across multiple technical disciplines to resolve issues, modernize processes, and drive results through complex programs. Lead reuse-first adoption of AI-assisted practices for delivery and automation, ensuring changes remain validated, traceable, and aligned with resiliency and security expectations. Advise junior engineers on upstream and downstream system implications, execute work according to compliance standards, and contribute to team culture of diversity and inclusion. Requires 5+ years of full stack network design experience, proficiency in Python and Ansible, and deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure across public and private environments.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- 5+ years of full stack network design and deployment
- Operating knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as software defined networks / zero touch provisioning, SD-WAN, fabric switching, Wi-Fi, and network security technologies and practices
- Proficient in specific network infrastructure technology and programming languages (e.g., Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Technical knowledge across multiple domains
- Knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as: hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience or performance assessments
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations
- Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds
- Drives to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge of additional domains, data fluency, and automation knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with wired/wireless LAN/BGP WAN/SD-WAN and 802.1x technologies from vendors including Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Fortinet, and Forescout
- Exhibits a growing initiative and the ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently, seeking guidance when needed and showing a willingness to find solutions and contribute to improvements with some supervision
- Demonstrates strong communication skills, conveying ideas and challenges with clarity and precision to support understanding and effective collaboration
