Job Summary
Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer within the ECIS - Egress team responsible for leading and delivering proxy infrastructure solutions, including installation, migration, and decommissioning of Broadcom-based devices (Proxy SG, ISG) and related Symantec components. You will manage client/stakeholder communications, contribute to process improvements and runbooks, provide advanced troubleshooting for proxy issues, collaborate with IT and business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals, and mentor team members. Technical focus includes proxy-based security solutions, REST APIs, container deployments, SEIM tooling, scripting for automation (shell/python, Ansible), and strong networking knowledge. The role requires flexible, collaborative leadership in a large enterprise environment and the ability to drive end-to-end project delivery while adhering to JPMorgan Chase processes.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years hands-on experience with Broadcom (Blue Coat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec CAS, and SMC
- Experience with SaaS Secure Gateway vendors such as Zscaler, Netskope, etc.
- Ability to build, test and deploy proxy-based security solutions
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts, and application layer protocols (HTTP/HTTPS)
- Experience with REST API and container-based deployment models
- Familiarity with version control practices
- Proficiency with SEIM tools for investigation
- Scripting skills for automation (shell/python) and Ansible playbooks
- Expertise in networking fundamentals (topology, VLANs, routing, switching, load balancing, firewalls)
- Willingness to work off-hours and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
