Job Summary
Senior Lead Engineer to perform structural analysis of Aircraft components and assemblies, including calculation of loads, static, fatigue, damage-tolerance, and vibration analyses. Draw FBDs based on load paths and generate applied/internal loads; prepare informal and formal strength check documents and stress reports using MS Office. Manage project schedule and cost for assigned work and collaborate with cross-functional teams and USA stakeholders. Requires knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing and analysis, solid mechanics, and machine design; experience with Hypermesh or Nastran/Patran desirable; strong communication and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 7-10 years of relevant experience
- Good Knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing and analysis
- Proficient in solid mechanics, machine design
- Knowledge of structural load paths and structural response to load
- Experience with analysis tools such as Hypermesh or Nastran/Patran desirable
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Presentations)
