Job Summary
Senior/Lead Engineer - Embedded C, MIL 1553 role within MACS-NG avionics product. Responsible for software development activities in the embedded/low-level domain, including low-level software development, unit and integration testing, debugging, and resolving complex problems using test benches and tools. Ensure quality deliveries before hand-off to QA, participate in AGILE development, and comply with configuration management processes while delivering on time and within budget. Requires strong Embedded C skills, RTOS experience, low-level testing experience, and familiarity with software verification/validation and aerospace/defense domains; background in graphics driver development and knowledge of DO-178 are advantageous. B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or related field with 4-12 years of relevant defense/aerospace experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech in Electronics & Communication or related engineering discipline
- 4-12 years of relevant experience
- Strong in Embedded C programming language
- Experience in embedded software development with RTOS
- Experience in low-level software development/embedded software development
- Experience or knowledge on low-level testing (LLT) for low-level requirements (LLR)
- Experience with configuration management tools
- Experience with native and cross compilers
- Knowledge of graphics driver development and testing is a plus
- Knowledge of DO178 process and standard is a plus
- Working experience in Defense/Military/Aerospace products development is desirable
