Job Summary
Senior Lead Data Engineer at Capital One: lead a team of developers in machine learning, distributed microservices, and full-stack systems; collaborate with Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions using Java, Scala, Python, RDBMS/NoSQL, and cloud data warehousing (Redshift, Snowflake); mentor engineers and perform unit testing to ensure robust, high-performance code; engage with product managers to deliver cloud-based data solutions enabling financial empowerment for millions of Americans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 6 years of experience in application development (Internship experience does not apply)
- At least 2 years of experience in big data technologies
- At least 1 year experience with cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
