Senior Lead Consultant, M&A Due Diligence

Senior Lead Consultant in the Mergers & Acquisitions team conducts Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and environmental compliance reviews for industrial facilities to support transactions (mergers, acquisitions, divestitures). Responsibilities include desktop reviews, facility visits, interviewing management, reviewing historical site data, and preparing Phase I ESA reports in line with ASTM standards or customized client reports; provide broader environmental compliance support across hazardous waste, wastewater/stormwater, air emissions, chemical/spill prevention, EPCRA reporting, and state/local regulations; travel to facilities (local or nationwide); support multiple projects, ensure high-quality deliverables, and contribute to proposals and cost estimates; mentor junior team members. Required background includes a minimum B.S. in a relevant engineering or science discipline, 7+ years of Phase I ESA and environmental compliance experience, ability to travel, strong communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with offices in New York City, NY or Princeton, NJ and a salary range of $97,500–$126,500 per year.
