Job Summary
Senior Lead Consultant in air quality compliance and permitting for Ramboll’s Environment & Health division. Responsible for reviewing local, state, and federal environmental regulations focused on air compliance, preparing air emission estimates and permit applications, conducting air dispersion modeling, completing EPCRA Tier II and TRI reporting, and supporting client relationships with deliverables. Role requires contributing to multi-disciplinary teams, mentoring, and communicating with clients and regulators. Requires a B.S./M.S. in a relevant engineering or science field and 7+ years of air quality experience; strong computing, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential. Salary range posted: $97,204–$121,505 per year; base compensation may vary by location and may include bonus or other forms of compensation.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality course work is a plus)
- 7+ years of air quality related experience
- Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
- Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
- Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
