Job Summary
Senior Lead Architect responsible for guiding architecture governance, evaluating technologies, delivering secure high-quality production code, and providing technical guidance across teams within JPMorganChase's Consumer and Community Banking. The role involves representing a product family in governance, proposing improvements, driving decisions on product design and operations, and contributing to a diverse, inclusive team culture; requires formal training/certification in software engineering and 5+ years of hands-on experience across design, development, testing, and operational stability, with advanced knowledge in architecture and cloud/native technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s)
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
