Job Summary
Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase leading strategy and modernization of digital technology architecture across consumer & community banking. Drives governance, evaluation of current and emerging technologies, cloud-native solutions, security best practices for public-facing digital applications, and guidance to product teams. Responsibilities include setting multi-year architecture strategy, delivering high-quality production code, mentoring teams, and influencing decisions on product design, application functionality, and technical operations. Preferred qualifications include experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, and prior banking/fin-tech exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in using LLMs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or other models) to solve business problems
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes
- Practical cloud native experience
