Senior Lawyer

Job Summary

Provide comprehensive legal support to Nexi Group companies operating in Poland, focusing on payment services, e-commerce solutions, and technology projects. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial, technology, partnership, product, licensing, and intra-group agreements while delivering ongoing advice to corporate bodies and business teams. Actively support product teams in design and implementation by identifying legal and regulatory risks at the solution stage. Prepare bilingual (PL/EN) documentation, monitor regulatory developments, and contribute to M&A, reorganization, and transformation projects. Deliver training sessions on legal awareness for business units.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Law
  • Qualified Legal Counsel (Radca Prawny) or Attorney-at-Law (Adwokat)
  • At least 5–7 years of professional experience in corporate legal advisory services, gained either in a law firm or an in-house legal department, preferably within the payment services sector
  • Strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and business law, particularly in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial, technology, partnership, and intra-group agreements
  • Experience advising regulated entities, especially within the financial, payments, or technology sectors
  • Proven experience providing day-to-day legal support to business functions, including product, sales, operations, IT, HR, and finance teams
  • Ability to identify legal and regulatory risks and deliver practical, business-oriented recommendations
  • Experience working on regulatory, implementation, transformation, or reorganization projects
  • Excellent command of English, including legal English, enabling independent drafting, reviewing, and negotiating documentation, as well as effective collaboration in an international environment
  • Experience working with bilingual Polish-English (PL/EN) documentation
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, strong sense of ownership, and capability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic business environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to partnering with the business

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with M&A transactions, reorganization projects, or international projects
  • Experience collaborating with international stakeholders, external law firms, and group functions within a multinational organization
