Job Summary
The Senior Landscape Designer is responsible for developing project concept designs, site plans, specifications, and presentation drawings. Key responsibilities include conferring with senior leadership on design concepts, preparing detailed drawings and models, developing landscape architectural projects, and providing technical assistance on building types and codes. Required skills include proficiency in design software, strong rendering abilities, and effective communication. A bachelor's degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture and at least 4 years of relevant experience are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture
- 4+ years of experience in landscape architecture and/or site design
Desired Qualifications
- Environmental accreditation preferred
- Proficient technical knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, Illustrator, and AutoCAD
- Revit and Rhino experience preferred
- Strong freehand illustration and rendering skills
- Effective communication skills in verbal presentation, written narrative, and graphic representation
- Ability to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Works well in a team environment
