Senior Landman – Permian Basin

Job Summary
Conduct complex land work including evaluation of records, titles, abstracts, and leases to determine ownership, burdens, and development opportunities. Lead title review and curative efforts to resolve complex defects and manage damage claims. Plan assignments involving acquisitions, divestitures, leasing, and development programs while representing the company at land or lease sales. Negotiate and draft complex agreements and contract provisions, including sophisticated lease forms and amendments. Coordinate cross-functional problem solving with Legal, Regulatory, Operations, and external advisors to resolve land, title, and commercial issues. Build strong industry relationships and serve as a knowledgeable resource to peers. Requires eight years of landman experience and up to 10% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Land Management, Energy Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a Landman
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test
