Job Summary
Stamp, seal, and take professional responsibility for boundary, mortgage, topographic, and construction surveys. Review all survey deliverables produced by field crews and drafters for accuracy before client submission. Communicate directly with title agents, real estate attorneys, engineers, and developers to resolve legal description discrepancies and project scope issues. Ensure all work complies with Florida Statutes Chapter 472 and applicable administrative codes. Mentor Surveyors in Training and junior drafters by reviewing their work and supporting their path to licensure. Flag field data problems early to prevent client impact. This senior-level role requires an active Florida Professional Land Surveyor license and offers remote-first flexibility with competitive compensation commensurate with licensure and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active Florida Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license
- Solid command of Florida survey law
- Practical experience across boundary, mortgage, and topo work
- Comfortable reviewing CAD-drafted documents and field notes for accuracy and completeness
