Job Summary
Collaborate with engineering staff and CAD operators to develop site/civil engineering plans and specifications for industrial, healthcare, and residential projects. Prepare and review drawings documenting systems, then attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies to discuss design and permitting issues. Supervise design team activities, manage junior-level staff, and oversee small to large projects while developing new opportunities and managing proposal submissions. This role requires PE licensure in Virginia and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS. The position offers a base salary of $132,000 to $180,000 for the I-64 Virginia offices with a flexible, hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering or related degree
- 11+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects
- PE licensure in Virginia or obtain within 12 months

- Proficient in site layout, grading, utility design and stormwater management
- Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specification, and engineering reports
- Experience in leading and developing project teams for successful project delivery and employee growth
- Understanding of I-64 and Virginia market
