Job Summary
Senior LAN Services Administrator responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and high-level performance tuning and disaster recovery procedures for enterprise systems. Acts as a technical expert in server operating systems, enterprise software, and virtual environments; recommends redesign and configuration of OS and system applications; researches requirements, develops specifications, initiates proofs of concepts, and provides IT management recommendations. Provides project leadership, mentors junior staff, and collaborates with Business Analysts throughout the SDLC to ensure system reliability, availability, and security. Day-to-day datacenter administration of virtual machines and host hardware; manages server OS/software, databases, and virtualization; develops implementation plans, scripts, and testing procedures; designs disaster recovery and business continuity procedures; performs disaster simulations; documents deployments and maintenance; performs level three troubleshooting of workstations and peripherals; utilizes management tools to deploy, monitor, and debug desktop applications; follows change management processes for stable production environments; participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals, complying with laws, regulations, and bank policies.
Required Qualifications
- Seven or more years of IT systems administration experience.
- A college degree and current industry standard certifications (e.g., CASP, CCA-V, MCSE, VCP6-DCV).
