Job Summary
Senior Laboratory Technician responsible for supervising the Andrology and Endocrine laboratories, ensuring the reporting of test results to provide diagnostic information for patient care. Coordinates quality control and maintenance on instrumentation, assists in evaluating and validating new procedures, trains technologists, ensures HIPAA compliance and PPE usage, maintains equipment schedules, and supports Embryology staffing and QA activities across locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Cytogenetic Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 1.5 years experience
- ability to follow strict clinical protocols and processes
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and under stressful conditions
