Job Summary
Senior Key Account Manager for Stryker Mako robotic joint replacement in Italy Iberia/global scope. Lead high-value capital sales, engage C-suite executives, and develop compelling business cases to drive adoption of Mako robotic-assisted surgery technologies. Manage cross-functional activities, including post-sale installation and training at customer sites, while cultivating ongoing executive relationships to secure recurrent sales. Build and monitor lead-generation plans, inform customers of new product/service introductions and prices, and provide timely reporting of activities and forecasts. Requires a Bachelor's degree (biomedical/health sciences/business), 8+ years of sales experience with 5+ years in high-value capital healthcare sales, fluency in Italian and English (C1), and the ability to translate clinical benefits into economic value for healthcare providers. Travel up to 70% within Italy and related regions; remote work possible with field-based activities; compensation details provided for Italy with a company car and comprehensive benefits. Role emphasizes collaboration with implant teams, surgeons, and hospital administration to advance premium joint replacement technologies across Iberia and globally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, health sciences, business administration or similar
- 8+ years of sales experience
- 5+ years of high-value capital sales experience in healthcare & med-tech
- Experience in negotiation at decision-making level
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, verbal and written in Italian and English (C1)
- Medical Device or Diagnostic experience is required
- Executive C-Suite selling background with deep understanding of hospital financial operations
- Strong ability to connect with internal cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority
- Demonstrated ability to translate clinical benefits of products into economic value for healthcare providers
- Comfortable using financial-based selling tools and building business cases for high-investment technologies
