Job Summary
Lead commercial strategy and business development across global pharmaceutical accounts by developing and executing detailed account plans and engagement strategies. Drive revenue growth by aligning global account strategy with regional teams, identifying and closing large-scale, multi-year opportunities in proteomics and biomarker discovery. Act as a central orchestrator across field sales, application support, and global teams to ensure coordinated engagement, influencing internal stakeholders without direct authority. Deliver high-level scientific presentations to senior pharma leadership and provide guidance on study design and biomarker strategy. Proactively develop new opportunities within existing relationships, maintain accurate pipeline visibility in CRM, and mentor field sales teams on global account dynamics and value-based selling. Partner with Product, Marketing, and R&D to communicate market trends and customer insights.
Required Qualifications
- BS, MS, or PhD in Biology, Life Sciences, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharma
- Strong commercial roles, including strategic accounts or key account management
- Demonstrated success managing global or enterprise-level pharmaceutical accounts
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization with overlay responsibilities
- Strong understanding of proteomics, biomarker discovery, or translational research
