Job Summary
Senior Jira Administrator responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Jira software in unclassified and classified environments for the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program in Huntsville, AL. Will customize Jira workflows, dashboards, and reports; collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements; provide support and troubleshooting; perform upgrades and migrations; develop and maintain documentation; stay current on Jira best practices to optimize performance. Requires DoD security clearance and related certifications; hands-on experience with Jira and Atlassian tools; strong scripting/automation knowledge preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 8 Years with Bachelor of Science; 6 Years with Masters; 3 Years with PhD; or 12 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Current DoD Secret Security Clearance
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification (i.e., Security+, CISSP, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of Jira software and its capabilities.
- Strong understanding of software development processes.
- Proven experience as a Jira System Administrator or similar role.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Jira Administrator certification is a plus.
