Job Summary
Design and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Build secure RESTful APIs, integrate backend services with databases and third-party systems, and optimize application performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to participate in the complete software development lifecycle, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to CI/CD and cloud-based deployments. Requires 8+ years of Java development experience with expertise in Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and SQL. Candidates with Full Stack experience using React or Angular are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of Java development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17
- Spring Boot
- Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security)
- Microservices Architecture
- RESTful API Development
- Hibernate/JPA
- SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL)
- Maven or Gradle
- Git/GitHub
- Unit Testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (Memphis, TN or Austin, TX)
