Job Summary
Senior Java Spark Developer responsible for delivering robust, scalable solutions using Java Spark, REST APIs, SQL, Unix shell scripting, and Spring Boot. Must navigate Singapore Local Regulatory Guidelines and contribute to regulatory reporting/data warehousing initiatives. Leadership experience in stabilizing projects during crises and building high-performing teams within an Agile environment is required. Strong analytical and communication skills, plus 8-13 years of hands-on Java Spark with Big Data, Hive, Oracle, and Autosys experience. Knowledge of regulatory reporting and data analysis activities is very helpful; financial services (investment banking) exposure is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Java Spark, REST API, SQL, Unix, shell scripting, and Spring Boot
- 8-13 years of hands-on Java Spark development
- Experience with Big Data tools like Hive and Oracle
- Knowledge of Autosys
- Understanding of regulatory reporting and data analytics
- Leadership and team-building experience in Agile environments
- Strong communication and independent work capability
- Regulatory guidelines familiarity specific to Singapore
