Senior Java Solution Architect - Remote - Murcia

Job Summary
Prepare solution designs, process and service flow diagrams, and review existing client architecture to present findings to IT stakeholders. Specify solution design and technology best practices, helping establish architecture principles and guidelines while participating in solution design and application development. Ensure standards and architecture principles are followed, recommend technology and solution architectures, and support clients adopting Agile ways of working. Candidates must have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in digital transformation, road maps, and cost reduction. This role requires quarterly office visits in Murcia and involves working with Java, Spring, and related technologies within a leading IT services or consulting environment.
Required Qualifications
- Good level of English
- Willing to go to the office in Murcia for 5 days on a quarterly base
- Bachelor or Master degree
- +5 years' experience in technical and/or solution design and architecture roles
- Experience with 1 or more of following technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Angular, React
- Experience gained from working in client-facing roles within a leading IT services, systems integrator, or management consulting firm
- Strong experience of digital transformation, road maps, target operating models, cost reduction, performance improvement
- Knowledge of Agile ways of working and experience supporting clients adopting Agile
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication and presentation skills
