Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, cloud-ready Java microservices using Spring Boot and modern software engineering practices. Build secure, resilient, and high-performance distributed systems aligned with business and architectural requirements. Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations that enable seamless communication between enterprise platforms and services. Apply object-oriented design principles, design patterns, and domain-driven thinking to create maintainable and extensible solutions. Lead technical design discussions, perform code reviews, and champion engineering excellence across the development lifecycle. Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native deployment strategies. Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform when required. Develop and manage APIs using API Manager, Runtime Manager, Design Center, and Anypoint Exchange. Apply integration patterns such as request/reply, pub-sub, scatter-gather, orchestration, and event-driven processing. Build data transformations and mappings using DataWeave and MuleSoft integration capabilities. Contribute reusable API assets, standards, and governance practices across integration initiatives. Implement security best practices including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API authentication, authorization, and secure service communication. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and integration performance across distributed systems. Identify scalability, resiliency, and reliability improvements through proactive engineering practices. Ensure non-functional requirements including performance, observability, availability, and maintainability are considered during solution design. Partner with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver scalable technology solutions. Translate business requirements into technical designs aligned with broader platform architecture. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while driving delivery outcomes and technical excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong hands-on Java development
- Expert-level proficiency in Java, object-oriented programming, concurrency, multithreading, collections, and design patterns
- Strong experience building microservices using Spring Boot and related Spring ecosystem technologies
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-native applications
- Advanced knowledge of RESTful API design, API versioning, error handling, and API lifecycle management
- Experience implementing security standards including OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and API security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
