Job Summary
Design, develop, and troubleshoot solutions for Nasdaq Market Surveillance Reviews system requirements and business processes. Participate in technical design, functional specification reviews, develop project estimates, schedules, and test plans, while proactively identifying and resolving issues through authoring of technical specifications. Mentor team members on system improvements, industry trends, and efficiency gains. This role involves determining systems software design requirements and providing application development services for challenging assignments within the NMS team.
Required Qualifications
- Have Degree qualified in Computer Science, Business/Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering using Java
- This position will be located in Sydney, Australia
- This is a permanent, full-time role

Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in financial institutions is highly preferred but not required
- Maintains professional association memberships
- Specialized development in business acumen, financial, and critical thinking
