Job Summary
Contribute to improving development and build processes by designing and developing production-grade, enterprise-level systems using REST APIs and microservices. Implement Python and Java backend code that is reliable, fast, scalable, and secure while integrating Machine Learning algorithms. Follow Scrum procedures to estimate work, write technical documentation, and maintain secure coding practices with logging and auditing. Manage Git workflows through pull requests to ensure high-quality code. This role requires a full-time commitment with a first-week onboarding visit to The Hague, Netherlands. Candidates must be fluent in English and hold a work permit.
Required Qualifications

- Fluent in English
- +6 years of experience in Software Development
- Good knowledge of modern Java
- In-depth knowledge of Python 3
- Good knowledge of the design and development of back-end components (REST APIs, integrations, micro-services)
- Knowledge of Machine Learning frameworks (e.g. TensorFlow)
- Good knowledge of Git
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. AGILE)
- Participation in a minimum of 2 projects involving cloud development
- +2 years of experience in Software Development for the cloud
- Knowledge of Docker and/or Kubernetes
