Job Summary
Design and build high-performance, cloud-native services using Spring Boot in Java 21+ and Kotlin, processing hundreds of millions of events daily within event-driven architectures. Own architecture decisions, performance, and reliability by implementing SLOs, resilience patterns, and backpressure strategies. Configure CI/CD pipelines with GitOps on Kubernetes and deploy to Azure, AWS, or GCP while optimizing systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry. Apply security-by-design principles with OAuth2/OIDC and leverage agentic AI tools to accelerate development. Contribute actively to the internal engineering community and share knowledge with clients. This role involves working on critical systems in fintech, energy, and infrastructure, supported by a leadership culture where engineers drive direction and make project choices together.
Required Qualifications
- Minimaal 5 jaar ervaring als software engineer (hbo/wo of aantoonbaar gelijkwaardig niveau)
- Sterke kennis van Java (21+) en/of Kotlin
- Ervaring met Spring Boot, cloud-native development en event-driven architectuur
- Bekend met Kubernetes en het inrichten van CI/CD pipelines d.m.v. GitOps
- Ervaring met Kafka of vergelijkbare messaging-technologieën
- Ervaring met AWS, Azure, of GCP
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en bent communicatief sterk
- Je vindt het leuk om kennis te delen en kunt technische keuzes, op verschillende niveaus, helder uitleggen
Desired Qualifications
- Pluspunt: kennis van frontend frameworks zoals Angular of React voor full-stack eigenaarschap
