Job Summary
Conduct backend development for high-scale banking projects using advanced J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka within a microservices architecture. Design and implement large-scale data solutions involving functional programming, TDD, and BDD testing methodologies while managing PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB databases. Participate in a mandatory 24/7 rotating on-call shift system spanning one week every 3 to 4 months to resolve critical incidents outside standard hours. Collaborate within a multicultural team on international projects in the financial services sector, adhering to Agile/Scrum best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Mandatory 24/7 On-Call Rotation
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Advanced J2EE, Springboot and Apache Kafka expertise
- Microservices architecture
- Spring Boot
- Functional Programming
- Java (Version 8 and above)
- JPA
- Testing methodologies (TDD or BDD)
- Software Design and Architecture patterns
- Experience with Databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc.)
- Familiarity or working experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum)
- English language proficiency: Minimum B2 level
Desired Qualifications
- Basic notions of API design and specification (OpenAPI 3 / OAS3)
- Basic knowledge of Reactive Programming
