Job Summary
Develop powerful, efficient back-end web applications and design high-performance servers and databases to drive business forward. Architect core business logic, create seamless APIs for system communication, and lead projects from concept to completion. Enhance security and performance across multiple platforms while maintaining pristine code quality and troubleshooting issues. Collaborate on scalable solutions, write technical documentation, and optimize data and processes. Requires 9+ years of experience with Java 8+, Spring Boot, Oracle DB, AWS, and Kafka. Fluent in English; French proficiency advantageous. Fully remote long-term contractor role with excellent remuneration.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in IT
- min 9 years of professional experience in development
- Mastery of back-end languages and frameworks, including Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Java EE, and Hibernate
- Solid experience with Oracle Service Bus, Oracle DB, and RDBMS database technology
- Deep understanding of OpenID Connect, SSO, and integration techniques
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud development
- Expertise in Kafka, ActiveMQ, JMS, and working with REST & SOAP APIs
- Experience with tools like Secunda and IOP IAM
- Advanced knowledge of Procurement and Grant Management business domains
- Strong understanding of Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxy configuration
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Bamboo and Docker
- Knowledge of Git for code versioning
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in French
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies
- Experience with NoSQL databases, Angular, TypeScript, and front-end technologies
