Job Summary
Senior Java Engineer designs, develops, and delivers high-quality software and business process solutions across the full technology stack. This role applies deep technical expertise, domain knowledge, and strong business acumen to build scalable, reliable applications; leads technical initiatives, defines testing standards, and mentors team members. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and enhancing complex software, operating across front-end, back-end, and data access layers; analyzing complex code and performance issues; leading technical components of projects; championing software quality through advanced testing standards and methodologies; conducting thorough code reviews and optimizing queries for performance and scalability; collaborating with product, architecture, QA, and DevOps; mentoring software engineers and assisting with onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Significant hands-on experience in Java-based enterprise application development
- Strong experience working across front-end and back-end layers of complex applications
- Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, coding standards, design patterns, and quality-driven development practices
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical problems and deliver robust, scalable solutions
- Extensive experience performing code reviews and contributing to technical best practices within development teams
