Job Summary
Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Java microservices and backend applications that power AI-driven and agentic solutions. Build and integrate AI-enabled applications using modern frameworks, develop scalable RESTful APIs and event-driven services, and contribute to cloud-native application development and deployment on GCP, AWS, or Azure. Collaborate with architects and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions while participating in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Support CI/CD pipelines and application observability initiatives using tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Requires 6+ years of software engineering experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and distributed systems.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot
- REST APIs and microservices development
- Distributed systems and backend engineering
- Relational and NoSQL databases
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- AI application integrations and enterprise automation solutions
- Python or TypeScript for scripting and integrations
- Messaging and event-driven architectures
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years building and supporting microservices-based applications
- Java (17+), Spring Boot, Spring Cloud
- REST APIs
- gRPC (preferred)
- GraphQL (preferred)
- Redis or similar caching technologies
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry
Desired Qualifications
- Reactive Java (nice to have)
- Exposure to AI and Agentic platforms
- Experience working with MCPs (Model Context Protocols) or Agent Development Kit (ADK)
- Familiarity with AI copilots, conversational AI, or enterprise search solutions
- Experience developing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of scalable and resilient cloud-native application development
