Job Summary
Develop applications in Java (JDK 8, Spring Boot) with a focus on the Financial Services space, utilizing RESTful Web Services, OOP, and RDBMS. Apply modern engineering practices including Agile, Scrum, and TDD while communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders. Work on end-to-end digital transformation projects leveraging technologies such as AI, DevOps, Cloud, IoT, Mobile, and Big Data. This role requires strong client-facing communication skills within a consultancy environment serving Retail, Healthcare, and Life Sciences clients.
Required Qualifications
- Background developing applications in Java (JDK 8, Spring Boot etc.)
- Solid understanding of Core Java design patterns and concepts
- Experience with RESTful Web Services, OOP/OOD and RDBMS experience
- Some experience working with front end technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, Angular etc.)
- Background using modern processes including Agile, Scrum, TDD etc.
- Strong communication skills (i.e. the ability to talk to stakeholders about complex technical concepts)
- Valid 'Right to Work' in the UK
