Job Summary
Design and deliver backend features for a large-scale financial crime platform that processes real-time transactional data for global banks. Own end-to-end development across the stack, moving features from problem identification through production while collaborating in an autonomous, small team. Leverage Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems like Kafka and Kubernetes to solve complex problems with a focus on root cause analysis and observability. This role supports the detection of fraud and prevention of money laundering within a product used by over 130 financial institutions, requiring a structured approach to engineering in a high-impact environment.
Required Qualifications

- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience contributing to modern web applications
- Experience working with distributed or cloud-based systems
