Job Summary
Senior Java Developer leading analysis, design, programming, and implementation of complex applications; provides technical direction and supports business systems software; designs, codes, tests, and debugs complex programs; drives cross-application integration and acts as a mentor/consultant on large projects; must have strong Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and SQL skills; role is onsite in Columbia, SC with a customer-focused, project-oriented environment; expects senior-level leadership, problem-solving, and ability to work within an agile team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related degree
- Minimum 8 years of experience in application development or related
- Strong Java knowledge with experience in Spring Boot and RESTful services
- Experience with SQL Server and MySQL, JSP, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of SonarQube, BlackDuck, GitHub, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with SDLC and leading/mentoring other developers
- Ability to work onsite in Columbia, SC
