Senior Java Developer Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead a team of developers in supporting and enhancing Java/J2EE-based Internet and Intranet business applications involved in B2B, manufacturing, sales, order processing, and content management. Responsibilities include hands-on development, mentoring team members, and providing technology leadership with IBM WebSphere and JBoss Technologies. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in Object Oriented Programming, J2EE technologies, frameworks like MVP and MVC, and possess strong skills in UML and software development life cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design
- 4-5 years of hands-on experience with J2EE/Java/JSP/Servlet/GWT/AJAX Application Development
- Experience with Eclipse IDE development environment
- Understanding of MVP with GWT and MVC with Struts framework
- Working knowledge of Hibernate technology for persistence management
- Competence with UML (Use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams)
- Working knowledge of both Waterfall and AGILE software development lifecycle
- 2-3 years minimum experience as a technical lead
- Ability to mentor and coach others in UML, OOP, system development, and Java/J2EE-related technologies

- Sun Certified Developer certification
- Advanced Sun certifications (Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer, Sun Certified Developer for Java Web Services, Sun Certified Enterprise Architect)
- Strong interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated leadership capability
