Job Summary
Design and develop production-grade, enterprise-level microservices using Java, Spring, and messaging systems like ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ. Contribute to improving development and build processes by setting up CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or Azure DevOps and configuring Docker and Kubernetes environments. Write secure backend code, implement OAuth authentication, and establish unit and integration tests while maintaining technical documentation. Collaborate within a Scrum team to estimate work, follow pull request procedures, and communicate requirements to upper layers. Fluent in English with a valid work permit is required for this long-term role involving relocation to The Hague, Netherlands.

- 2 years of experience in Software Development for the cloud
- Knowledge of application development environments like Eclipse or Intellij, Maven, Git
- Ability to model an EIP system using classical EIP patterns and diagrams
- Knowledge of the design and development of components like REST APIs based on Spring MVC and SOAP web servers and clients in a Java/Spring context
- Knowledge of relational databases Microsoft SQL server and Elastic search
- Ability to use Spring Data and Hibernate
- Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Knowledge of OOP paradigms and SOLID principles using Java and experience with most common Java frameworks (Spring, SpringBoot)
- Knowledge of container technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of messaging systems like ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ
- Knowledge of CD/CI systems (TFS/Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of a JavaScript front-end framework like Vue.js, Angular, REACT
- Knowledge of a Java EIP framework like Apache Camel
- Knowledge of Spring Integration
