Job Summary
Senior Java Developer with 7+ years of backend experience sought to join Miratech’s Outbound Campaigns team in a remote-capable role. Focus on designing, developing, and implementing microservices for enterprise campaign management across multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments. Responsibilities include leading architecture and development of scalable microservices, transforming monolithic apps into resilient microservices, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, addressing technical debt, and staying current with best practices. Must have expert Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitLab), Elasticsearch, SQL/NoSQL design, and solid experience with cloud platforms (GCP). Bachelor's degree required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; opportunity to work from anywhere with a global client base and relocation program benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in Java backend development
- expert-level Java with Spring and Spring Boot
- extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD (GitLab)
- Elasticsearch experience
- SQL/NoSQL database design
- good understanding of public cloud infrastructures, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- strong problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities
- experience architecting scalable distributed systems
- ability to mentor engineers
- experience performing code reviews
- ability to transform monoliths into microservices
- experience with microservices architecture
