Senior Java Developer - Coaching & Delivery

Senior Java Developer to act as the primary Agile coach and delivery mentor for a distributed offshore team; responsible for developing cloud-native engineering capability and guiding newer engineers to become effective within Elavon’s engineering, compliance, and operational context. Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservice applications using Java and Spring Boot; deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes and Rancher. Promote Agile practices, backlog refinement, and iterative development; apply Domain-Driven Design in collaboration with product owners. Collaborate with engineers and product managers, demonstrate a T-shaped skillset, and uphold engineering standards across design, development, testing, and CI/CD. Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, JSON/JSONSchema, JUnit, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred). Location expectations specify in-office work at named locations (Loughlinstown, MD Madrid, Arklow) with three or more days per week onsite.
