Job Summary
Design and architecture of scalable Java applications using Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful services while maintaining code quality through rigorous code reviews. Mentor junior developers, resolve complex technical issues, and optimize database performance across relational and non-relational systems. Manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and containerized architectures with Docker and Kubernetes to ensure robust deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into technical solutions and stay current with emerging industry technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
- Must hold a current Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI) with a recent (7 years or less) polygraph
- 7+ years of professional experience in Java development or related roles
- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-level Java projects
- Experience with Java, Java Swing, Gradle, and CI/CD Pipelines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with bit level manipulation and visualization
- Familiarity with Artifactory for managing and distributing binary artifacts, including repository setup, artifact promotion, and integration with build tools and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile development environments, using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and familiarity with related tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
